Russian, German, Spanish, English…

Andrej is a Team Leader for 5CA’s German speaking MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) gaming support team. Typical of many of 5CA’s staff, he is multilingual, speaking Russian, German, Spanish and English.

Tell us something about your personal story before joining 5CA

I am 25 years old, was born in Russia but lived and studied for most of my life in Germany. In 2008 I got the travel bug, left Germany and began a trip through various countries. This was when I encountered a passion for different cultures, people and nature.

Why did you choose Argentina?

Argentina was simply on my personal list of countries to visit. I honestly did not know anything about this country before and therefore, my curiosity brought me here.

Why did you choose 5CA?

I chose 5CA, because the company offered me work in the gaming industry. I have always been a passionate MMO gamer and was glad to have found the possibility to work with something I love. What can be better than making your hobby your profession?!

What do you think about Argentina?

Argentina shines with its richness of cultures, traditions, amazing nature and of course, open hearted and open minded people. A country in which I not only see, but also learn new things frequently.

What do you think about 5CA as a company?

5CA is a company with an exciting history of development which faced and overcame lots of challenges on its way. During my time here I have seen the company growing constantly. I have learned and seen that you can overcome every obstacle when all members act in concert and head for one mutual goal. And it is even more fun, when working in a multicultural atmosphere with young people and a relaxed feel. With a stable philosophy and the attitude of the company’s management I see a bright future for 5CA and its staff.

How do you feel working at 5CA?

I enjoy dealing with people and I enjoy gaming. If I put those two factors together, the result is my profession. Of course I also experience challenging days and periods in 5CA. But those are requirements to grow and develop and I am thankful for the different people working at my side, who push and motivate me to never give up, learn from mistakes and keep heading forward, to bigger challenges and greater targets.

Tell us a bit about your colleagues?

One of many things I enjoy about the work environment, is the fact that everyone is respectful to each other. The communication between my colleagues is easy and open which leads to a good atmosphere and the ability to do a great job as a team.

Tell us something about what you have learned at 5CA

Apart from an enormous amount of new skills, I have learnt to deal with different types of issues and to face and to solve them both by myself and in a team. Due to the working languages in the office, I have improved my English and my Spanish a lot. I learnt to set higher targets for myself and to motivate others to reach their targets. I have also learnt to value my own work and self-esteem which I am very thankful for.
